The Mardi Gras Mambo, brought to you by Pensacola Mardi Gras, brings you the experience of a Mardi Gras party with entertainment from Lil Jon and Yung Joc. Hosted on Saturday, January 11, 2024, at the Pensacola Bay Center, this event includes traditional Mardi Gras food, drinks, and entertainment highlighted with Krewe Royalty on stage with Lil Jon and Yung Joc. The night will conclude with a performance you don’t want to miss! Lil Jon and Yung Joc will perform some of their greatest hits bringing you the spirit of Pensacola’s largest event — the Pensacola Mardi Gras Grand Parade.
Lil Jon is a rapper, record producer, and DJ known as one of the pioneers of the hip-hop subgenre crunk. He gained fame in the early 2000s with hits like "Get Low" and "Snap Yo Fingers", often collaborating with artists such as Usher and Ludacris. His energetic, hyped style and catchphrases like "Yeah!" and What?!" became iconic. Lil Jon has since expanded into DJing, acting, and business ventures, while remaining influential in music and popular culture.
Yung Joc is an American rapper known for his 2006 hit single "It's Going Down", which became a major success and earned him Grammy nominations. He gained popularity with his debut album, New Joc City, and was prominent in the mid-2000s Southern hip-hop scene. Joc has since appeared on the reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, where he's become known for his humor and charisma. Beyond music, Yung Joc has pursued business ventures and stayed active in the entertainment industry.
